Ford Raptor

Ford Raptor

Ford's Special Vehicle Team (SVT) turned a new 4WD F-150 into an off-road competitor when it built the SVT Raptor. One important change is a new front suspension that gives the SVT a wider stance (7" wider than the typical F-150) and enhances its stability during higher-speed off-road adventures.
Exceptional suspension travel (13.4" in the rear and 11.2" in the front) allows the truck's tires to stay in contact with the ground when traveling over irregular surfaces, and internal bypass shocks  help the Raptor handle rough terrain, and to land safely after going airborne

The Future of Body Armur

A liquid armour has been shown to stop bullets in tests carried out by UK scientists at BAE systems in Bristol. The researchers have combined this "shear-thickening" liquid with Kevlar to create a new bullet-proof material. The company is keeping the chemical formula of the liquid a secret, but it works by absorbing the force of the bullet strike and responding to it by becoming much thicker and more sticky.

Body Armour

Personal armor is the whole of protecting clothing, designed to absorb and/or deflect slashing, bludgeoning, and penetrating attacks. They were historically used to protect soldiers, whereas today, they are also used to protect police forces, private citizens and private secrity guards or bodyguards. Two types exist: regular non-plated personal armor (used by the people mentioned above, except combat soldiers) and hard-plate reinforced personal armor, which is used by combat soldiers, police tactical units and hostage rescue teams.

Zorb Balls

Zorbing (globe-riding, sphereing, orbing) is the recreation of rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic. Zorbing is generally performed on a gentle slope, but can also be done on a level surface, permitting more rider control. In the absence of hills some operators have constructed inflatable, wooden or metal ramps. There are two types of orbs, harnessed and non-harnessed. Non-harness orbs carry up to three riders, while the harness orbs are constructed for one to two riders. Double-harness spheres have different slope requirements, and must only be operated in specific locations. The longer runs are approximately half a mile.

Bossaball

Each team consists of 3 to 5 players. One player (the attacker) is positioned in the trampoline, the others around him/her on the inflatables. A player from the serving team (the server) throws or kicks the ball into the air and attempts to hit the ball so it passes over the net on a course such that it will land in the opposing team's court (the serve). The opposing team must use a combination of no more than 8 contacts with the ball to return it to the opponent's side of the net. These contacts can be exercised using any body part (maximum 2 successive contacts with the head or feet, maximum one contact with the hands).

History of iPhone

The history of the iphone line of phones began with Steve Jobs, direction that Apple Inc. engineers investigate touch-screens. At the time he had been considering having Apple work on tablet Pc's, which later came to fruition with the iPad. Many have noted the device's similarities to Apple's previous touch-screen portable device, the New Messager Pad  Like the Newton, the iPhone is nearly all screen. Its form factor is credited to Apple's head of design, Jonathon Ive.
